BCS is pleased to announce that Maine author, Jennifer Richard Jacobson, will be visiting us on February 10, 2023. She has written many award winning children’s books, and will be presenting to Pre-K through 8th grade students.


At its meeting on Feb. 8, the AOS 93 Board announced the selection of Lynsey Johnston as the district's next Superintendent of Schools, effective July 1, 2022. Johnston, who currently serves as the district's assistant superintendent for business, was chosen after an internal search conducted by the board and an interview committee with representation from the district's seven towns and five schools, including a principal, a teacher, a staff member, and multiple parents. She becomes the first woman to serve in the role since the creation of AOS 93 in 2009.
