The 8th grade boys basketball team lost a hard fought game to Camden Middle School 60-57 last night. Congrats on a well played season GSB 8th grade!




In the month of January, third graders enjoyed the STEP Program at the MRC. The students received four lessons from our instructions then had time to free skate. On the final day, the students were surprised with the disco ball and music. We are so proud of their accomplishments!

Mr. Coleman's students made tracking lanyards, and then tested out their newly learned tracking skills. They also learned that even if you can't identify what animal made a track, the size, distance between tracks, direction of tracks, and surrounding evidence can tell a fascinating story about how animals survive during a cold Maine winter.

4th grade students experienced volcanoes up close in VR in their rock cycle studies!

This just in!! The GSB 7th grade Boys Basketball team will play in a 1st round playoff game against Troy Howard at 3:45 pm Wednesday, February 8th at Troy Howard Middle School. Go Cougars!!





There will be an 8th grade Boys basketball 1st round playoff game at 4pm Monday February 6th at GSB against Camden. Come out and support your GSB Cougars!!


Due to the extreme cold this evening, the Strings Concert has been rescheduled for Friday, February 10th. Please stay safe & warm this weekend!

On this frigid day, our GSB kindergarteners tried walking with eggs on their feet like emperor penguins.

Miss Courtade’s class worked together with parent volunteers to make a tasty meal at the YMCA.


First Graders had a great time learning about root vegetable from Larissa from Healthy Lincoln County. After we learned about root vegetables, we made and taste tested homemade pumpkin hummus. It was a huge hit!
