Join GSB and parents of 5th through 8th grade on Wednesday, September 10th at 5:00pm for Project iGuardian, an educational initiative of the Department of Homeland Security that focuses on "keeping children & teens safe from online predators through education & awareness." Sessions include "information about the dangers of online environments, how to stay safe online, and how to report abuse and suspicious activity."
Chris Fitzpatrick of the DHS will lead information sessions at five locations in Lincoln County in August and September. Each information session will last one hour, with a 45 minute presentation and 15 minutes at the end for questions and conversation. Parents may attend any session alone or bring their students, but please take note of the student age recommendations to determine if the session is suitable for your student.

GSB is excited to be hosting the final school garden tour of the year on the Maine School Garden Network's School Garden Summer Tours 2025! This is open to the GSB community as well as the wider community of school garden enthusiasts. We will have snacks and refreshments and provide a tour of GSB's greenhouse and gardens, and if time permits, end with a tour of the FARMS at the Y kitchen next door. We hope you can stop by Great Salt Bay School in the back parking lot on August 7th at 4:00pm!
The Center for Maine Contemporary Art in Rockland is happy to announce that they just received funding for full scholarships to ALL of our ArtCamps starting in July! Camps run Mon. - Thurs. from 9:00 - 12:00pm and are open to 8-14 year olds.

Mr Roy’s class painted plant labels for the school garden and sampled some fresh spinach and lettuce.
Great Salt Boys Baseball team, coached by Alan Tomasello and Julian Hupp led a truly impressive season. For the first time in history the GSB Baseball team went undefeated!!! They have won the North vs. South championship against Camden and were escorted home through Damariscotta with a full Police, Sheriff, as well as fire trucks from the 3 surrounding towns! Way to go GSB Boys!
