The Winter Olympic Games training has begun in Ms. Erin’s PE classes! They will train for the next two weeks then compete in our Winter Fest on February 13th! Bobsled training, curling, mogul skiing, ski jumps are just a few of the training sessions!

The GSB cheer team has been putting in a lot of practice time preparing for their upcoming competition on February 4th at Oceanside High School. Best of luck to the cheer team!

Sarah Gladu joined our third graders for a lesson on owls. Students practiced making owl calls, dissected an owl pellet, and went out on the trails to find owl habits. Thank you Coastal Rivers for another wonderful experience.



Another great lesson at FARMS for our third graders. They made and enjoyed crackers, hummus, curry, and falafel.




The GSB boys beat Richmond on Thursday, 1/29, in their quarterfinal playoff game. Next up, they host Wiscasset on Monday, 2/2, at 5 PM.

Students in fifth grade Art and Mr Roy’s fourth grade class collaborated to begin building snow structures in preparation for winter carnival. Students watched a video about Inuit igloo design to prepare for their snow creations.
