PI Day at GSB was a fantastic success once again! 🥧🎉

More than 170 students took on the challenge of memorizing the digits of pi and showcased their skills in their classrooms. Each grade then sent their top two memorizers to represent them at the school assembly—what an impressive display of talent and dedication!

To make things even more fun, each grade-level winner earned the chance to choose a staff member to get “PIED” (with whipped cream!) right in the face. Our incredible staff truly embraced the moment—they were enthusiastic, supportive, and a few even came ready for it!

It was such a fun and memorable way to celebrate math, school spirit, and our amazing community. 💙

Sometimes when we need to clean and refold the PI DAY tarp we play with it like a parachute on a windy day with our favorite Resource Officer, Officer Wells! Honestly, this was way too much fun for all of us!
Thank you Officer Wells for always hanging out with us, participating in PE and being the absolute best sport! From Penguin Hands to tarp folding- you always keep us laughing and working as a team!

Julia, a senior at Lincoln Academy and representative of Future Farmers of America, came to visit our third graders. She shared and reviewed important fire safety information while providing a new smoke detector, fire blanket, and workbooks for each student to bring home. We feel so lucky to have so many engaged young leaders in our community.

It's the annual GSB FEDCO Seed Sale! This is a great way to buy some of your favorite veggie and flower seeds (my favorites are the sugar snap peas, summer lettuce blend, and giant Zinnias), and support our school garden program at the same time. All packets are $4. Plus, no shipping charges. GSB will get half of the proceeds! The seeds will be shipped to GSB around April 1st, and we will be distributing them at that point. It's an easy to access online order form--just scan the QR code or go to https://fedcoseeds.com/fundraisers/GSBAG26 . Order by March 25th
