The lovely Teralyn joined Third grade for a week of theater lessons connecting to fossils through time. We have some very talented performers so be on the lookout for great things ahead.
Our third graders enjoyed a special lesson from Melissa from Maine agriculture in the classroom. They learned all about the steps of growing grain, its importance, and how it is harvested. Students are also growing grain in our GSB garden.

The Drama Club wrapped up their season with a fun performance of "Hotel of Horrors", directed by Teralyn Reiter, written by students!
Mrs. Michaud’s class learned how milk is processed and milked a “cow” with Ms. Hedda in the classroom. Afterwards they tried different types of cheese.
Mrs. Tibbetts 5th grade class had a great time at the Maine Maritime Museum in Bath!

The GSB Food Drive was a huge success! Thank you to all the families who brought in items to donate to our local Ecumenical Food Pantry in Newcastle. A special shout-out to our Student Council members for organizing and the two classrooms who brought in the most items - Ms. Tracy’s 3rd grade and Mrs. Girard’s 5th grade.
Pre-K baked some gingerbread people, and they got loose in the school!! We found them in our classroom ready to get decorated for our cookie party.
