GSB's cross country team had their first meet at Medomak on Thursday. Congratulations to Tiny Hall, who placed 4th out of 63 girls in her race, as well as Jakob Iverson, who placed 10th out of 85 boys. According to coach Olivia "everyone’s time was better than expected looking at our time trials from the previous two weeks." Overall, the girls team placed 3rd out of five teams, and the boys placed 2nd out of four teams. Great job everyone!

GSB Fall Picture Day 2025
Hello GSB Parents/Guardians!

I’d like to introduce myself! My name is Beth Sewall. I had the honor of becoming the GSB Softball coach last year for the 2025 softball season. As someone who played softball for 8 years, it’s such an honor to coach these amazing group of girls!

This summer and fall I have been holding free clinics when my schedule allows for my upcoming spring 2026 team.

I would like to extend this invite to any 7th and 8th grade girls who have maybe played softball in the past, or who never have played, but want the opportunity to see if they enjoy it!

If your child has interest in this, please email me at: bethksewall@gmail.com.

GSB SOCCER IS BACK! ⚽️

What a season opener for GSB Soccer! Both our boys' and girls' teams showed up ready to compete yesterday.

The boys delivered a dominating performance, securing a 7-3 win. The girls fought with everything they had in a tough match that ended 3-4. While the score wasn't in their favor, their grit and determination were on full display.

A fantastic effort all around. We can't wait to see what the rest of the season holds! Let's go GSB!!

Welcome back, GSB families! 🎉 We've had a fantastic start to the new school year, filled with new adventures and reconnecting with friends.

Here are a few snapshots from our first days back:

Our students are already making themselves at home in the new reading nook.

The 5th graders spent some time exploring the woods and working on a Lost Civilizations Project

AND PE has started our project of cleaning up the outdoor learning spaces! This one will be complete in a couple of weeks and is located at the back of the soccer field to the left of the goal post! We are still working on getting the map from coastal rivers so we can give it a common name- other then Ms Jen’s Old Outdoor Classroom

It’s going to be a great year! We can't wait to share more with you!
