2025-2026 PreK & Kindergarten Parent Information Night – May 19th at 6:00 PM
Please join us for our PreK/K Parent Information night. This evening is for parents and guardians to ask questions, hear about what to expect in the upcoming year, and gather helpful information. We’ll kick things off in the cafeteria with a short presentation about our school and our PreK and Kindergarten programs. After the presentation, parents and guardians are invited to take a tour of the school and stop by the classrooms to meet the teachers.

Day one of 7th grade Kieve week starts off with a bang!









Kindergarten had a great day learning about the fresh water marsh at Salt Bay Farm. Thank you CRCT!





8th graders practicing Greek and Latin roots by solving puzzles to get out of an escape room.




GSB 7th grade students are working on their landscape and plain air unit. We will be visiting the Shell Middens over the next few weeks to work on these landscape studies.

Thank you GSB Community for your generous donations of items needed for the pets waiting to be adopted at Midcoast Humane! The donation drive was a success! The donations will be delivered today, May 7th, by Mrs. Wehrle’s ELA class. Check out the Lincoln County News next week for an article about Midcoast Humane and pets to adopt, written by GSB student writers!

Pre-K is learning about worms and how they help our gardens and soil. Mrs. Hedda shared a box of worms for us to care for and feed this week!

Pre-K went to visit Maine Maritime Museum to learn about lobsters and the lobstering industry and explore the Chris Van Dusen exhibit.





Second graders prepared several healthy dishes while cooking at the YMCA.





3rd grade got to meet chickens in Miss Hedda's agriculture class and learn about their different breeds!
